2009 Deshi Promotion
At the 2009 December graduation Joshu Lance, Joshu Jenn & Joshu Joe were all promoted to Deshi which means "Sensei in training". They, along with Sensei also put on some special demonstrations at the end of graduation.
2009 December Graduation
A very special end of the year graduation. In addition to normal graduation, the instructors put on some demonstrations at the end. Also, Joshu Lance, Joshu Jenn & Joshu Joe were all promoted to Deshi which means "Sensei in training".

2009 September Graduation
A special Black Belt Graduation! A father and son receive their black belts together, a first in LEMA history! Tom received his First Degree Black Belt and Jack received his Jr. Black Belt.

2009 LEMA Summer Picnic
Every year LEMA holds a summer picnic at Emmaus Community Park. There's food, fun, a water battle and a kick-a-thon to support Kids 4 Kids United.
2009 LEMA Adult Social
Every year after the summer picnic LEMA holds an adult social dinner for parents and adult students. It's a great opportunity to mingle with the rest of the LEMA family off the mat. It was held at The Allentown Brew Works.

On June 6th, 2009 LEMA hosted a Child Safety Day with help from: South Whitehall Police, Cetronia Fire Department, Mcgruff the crime dog, Red Robin and The Inside Scoop.
